What we collect, and why
| Data | When | Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name, email, country, answers to the booking questions | When you book a Position Review through Calendly | To deliver the review and the written summary; to keep a record of the engagement | Performance of a contract |
| Payment card details | At booking | To take the fee | Processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number |
| Passport, income, property, family and residence details | When you complete the client information form or instruct us on a package | To prepare and progress your file | Performance of a contract; where sensitive data (e.g. religion for a marriage file) is involved, your explicit consent |
| Email address and your marketing preference | When you request the free guide | To send the guide and, only if you tick the box, a short email series | Consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Website usage data (pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location, device) | Only if you accept analytics cookies | To understand how the site is used and to measure advertising | Consent |
Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to deliver the service: Calendly (booking), Stripe (payment), Kit (email, if you request the guide), Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel (analytics, only with your consent), and our hosting provider. Where you instruct us on a package, your file is shared with the licensed professionals we coordinate on your behalf — a notary, chartered accountant or lawyer — with your knowledge and for that purpose only. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with any Moroccan or UK authority except where you instruct us to file on your behalf.
International transfers
We operate from Morocco and the UK. Your data may be processed in either country and by processors in the United States (Calendly, Stripe, Kit, Google, Meta) under the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable.
How long we keep it
Booking and engagement records: six years after the engagement ends, for tax and legal purposes. Guide subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: 14 months. You may ask us to delete your file at any time; we will do so unless a legal obligation requires us to retain part of it.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email amine@britinmorocco.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies until you choose to accept them. Essential functionality needs none. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only with your consent, which you can change at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.
